Here are some examples of what can be done using our Magic Mode.
Let's say we need to design a new logo for a magician's website named "Pure Illusion". Our fancy text generator has several fonts particularly suited for a magician's site, let's take "Kingthings Willow". Additionally, we want the text on the logo to be a bit curved, so we'll use the "Shape" option. Moreover, we'll add a soft shadow to the text. Here is the full list of parameters for Magic Mode that we'll apply to the "Pure Illusion" text string to create our logo.
- Width and height: Auto fit
- Background color: Transparent
- Text: Pure Illusion
- Font: Kingthings Willow
- Color: 3062AD
- Font size: 80 pt
- Outline width: 1 px
- Outline color: FF8434
- Shape: Arc Up
- Angle (for Shape): 20 degrees
- Shadow type: Soft
- Shadow color: 49499E
- Shadow's horizontal offset: 3 px
- Shadow's vertical offset: 3 px
- Magic Effect: None
- Resulting file type: PNG
Clicking the "Generate!" button, we'll see that our logo looks like this:
Please note that the logo's background is transparent, so it can be placed onto any other background without getting a coloured box around the text.
Let's say we're going to use the proverb "All that glitters is not gold" as a signature for a forum account, and we want the text to look fancy, e. g. like gold. Here are the parameters for Magic Mode we'll use to achieve this.
- Width and height: Auto fit
- Background color: Transparent
- Text: All that glitters is not gold
- Font: Liberation Serif
- Color: FAE2A9
- Font style: Bold
- Font size: 48 pt
- Magic Effect: Metallic Text
- Resulting file type: PNG
The resulting fancy text for these parameters will look like this:
The image's background is transparent, just as in the previous example.
In this example we'll create a text avatar with Neon Glow effect and a shadow. The text in this case will contain a single "W" letter, and the parameters will be:
- Width and height: Auto fit
- Background color: 303030 (very dark grey, to get higher contrast compared to the neon-glowing letter)
- Text: W
- Font: Mary Jane Meade
- Color: 00F7CE
- Font size: 80 pt
- Outline width: 2 px
- Outline color: FFE7AD
- Shadow type: Fuzzy
- Shadow color: 2B8CCC
- Shadow's horizontal offset: 4 px
- Shadow's vertical offset: 4 px
- Magic Effect: Neon Glow
- Resulting file type: PNG
The two pixels wide outline of the specified color provides additional fiery glow for the edge:
Here is our photo for this example:
It's Chateau Comtal, Carcassonne, France. Let's add the caption to the photo, placing the text above the arch and making it reproduce the shape of this arch. We will use the "Shape" option for that purpose, and the following parameters.
- Width and height: N/A (the original dimensions of the photo are used here)
- Background color: N/A
- Custom background: select the file containing the photo
- Text: Chateau Comtal, Carcassonne, France
- Font: Note this (that's exactly the name of the font!)
- Color: 4FA3F7
- Font size: 60 pt
- Shape: Arc Up
- Angle (for Shape): 95 degrees
- Magic Effect: None
- Resulting file type: JPG
Drag-and-dropping the text to place it just above the arch, we'll get the following result:
Let's say we're writing an article about knots and want to create a fancy text title for that article. There's a font named "Reeperbahn" in our font list that suits that case particularly well:
The parameter list looks simple in this case as none of the special effects are used:
- Width and height: Auto fit
- Background color: Transparent
- Text: How to Tie Basic Knots
- Font: Reeperbahn
- Color: 1742EB
- Font size: 60 pt
- Magic Effect: None
- Resulting file type: PNG
Certainly you might wish to use some of the above-mentioned effects to create stunning texts for your titles, so feel free to experiment!
